About the Sage license server
The license server is software running on a computer that manages the Sage Estimating licenses for the products that you purchased.
You need to designate a computer on your network to act as the license server, and then activate your product license on that computer.
Before users can work with Sage Estimating, their workstations must be connected to the designated Sage license server to acquire a license use.
Connectivity to the Internet and your network is required!

The Sage license server should remain connected to the Internet for periodic validation of licenses.
- The Sage license server must be available continuously to other network computers running Sage Estimating so that they can acquire licenses for your Sage products.
